Iranian scientist gives info to US on Iran nuke program, Hillary discusses him in emails

Must be nice to be above the law and never have to suffer any consequences for your actions — and indeed, to be on the verge of being rewarded with the Presidency of the United States after years of treasonable carelessness (at best).

“Cotton: Clinton discussed executed Iranian scientist on email,” by Jacqueline Klimas, Washington Examiner, August 7, 2016:

Hillary Clinton recklessly discussed, in emails hosted on her private server, an Iranian nuclear scientist who was executed by Iran for treason, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said Sunday.

“I’m not going to comment on what he may or may not have done for the United States government, but in the emails that were on Hillary Clinton’s private server, there were conversations among her senior advisors about this gentleman,” he said on “Face the Nation.” Cotton was speaking about Shahram Amiri, who gave information to the U.S. about Iran’s nuclear program….

Iran confirmed on Sunday that Amiri had been hanged for treason.

“This person who had access to the country’s secret and classified information had been linked to our hostile and No. 1 enemy, America, the Great Satan” a spokesman for the Iranian judiciary said. “He provided the enemy with vital and secret information of the country.”

Amiri disappeared while on a religious pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in 2009, but he then resurfaced a year later in the U.S., where he visited the Iranian interest section of the Pakistani embassy and demanded to be sent home to Iran. While Amiri told reporters that he was held against his will by both the Saudis and the Americans, U.S. officials said he was receiving millions of dollars for information he provided about Iran’s nuclear program.

The scientist shows up in Clinton’s emails back in 2010, just nine days before he returned to Iran.

“US media reported he had defected in a long-planned CIA operation. Tehran accused Saudi intelligence of kidnapping Mr Amiri and handing him to the Americans. The CIA declined to comment. The operation blundered when US intelligence failed to extract Mr Amiri’s wife and son to join him.

Angered by this betrayal, Mr Amiri reached out to Tehran in a series of bizarre videos released on YouTube and broadcast on Iranian state television. Sources in Tehran say his family was placed under enormous pressure, with the regime threatening to arrest his wife and kill his son.”

Upon his arrest the “US Media” was certainly not doing this guy any favors, nor was the “CIA”

His going back to Iran got him killed. Whether he really defected, or was kidnapped (as he claimed), you can’t go back.

That's like saying joining the military is what gets people in the military killed. He was a spy. Going back was his job. Having his spying discussed by the SoS on an unsecured email server is what exposed him, in his job, to the enemy, and got him killed. Sheesh!

If you are significant in any way or the IRI sees you as a possible threat, & you escape Iran, then any relatives left behind are harassed, and or arrested, have their homes searched, and you are told that they will be punished (or killed) if you don’t return. Your family usually survives okay, despite the threats.

You can’t go back.

“He was a spy”

Maybe. I don’t know that for sure. It’s possible that he wanted to escape Iran and his information to our gov’t was his ticket here.
What I do know, is that he had no chance of living as a free man in Iran once he returned. None. SO there was no point in going back. It was a death sentence, Hillary or no Hillary.

" Iran confirmed on Sunday that Amiri had been hanged for treason. "

Hypotheitcal interview:
Reporter: Amiri has been hanged, and it was announced on Sunday.
Hillery : Oh that's old news. Let's move on....
Reporter : That Sunday was today..
Hillery : Today ,..Oh !..
... Well at this point , what difference does it make ?

Bring an Iranian nuclear scientist, we can logically conclude two things. 1) He wasn't stupid; 2) He was familiar with Iranian society.

Therefore unless he was suicidal, he disagreed with your assessment of his chances of survival. And, as he just so happened to be finally executed AS a spy, its not too much of a stretch to assume he WAS a spy - since we also now know that Hillary Clinton, AS Secretary of State, was alleging him AS a spy for the US on her personal, unsecured email sever.

Ergo, Hillary killed him.

I think he went back because his family was threatened and he knew exactly what the outcome would be.
He isn’t the first, nor will he probably be the last, nuclear scientist arrested as a spy & executed after a trip abroad.
Just because the IRI calls you a spy, doesn’t make it so.
If you were a blogger outside of Iran and said some not so complimentary things about the IRI, and try to return, you will be branded a spy, and arrested and possibly executed.

the hag's retort will be: I didn't kill him!

This is exactly what bubba said to a gold star mom when she confronted him about her sons death in Mogadishu.

In an honorable world, Hillary would resign in a humble admission of accidental treason.

The scientist’s decision to return makes me suspect that he had been sent by Iran to spread false information, and had been led to believe that he could return. That would be very stupid on his part, because the Iranians would not trust him no matter what, and in any event would try and execute him to make the material he passed along look legit.

The Iranians didn’t need stupid Hillary to tell them one of their nuclear scientists had “disappeared” or that he was in the US at the Pakistani embassy demanding return to Iran.

Science information is independently analyzed and verified. We wouldn't need - nor trust - him to tell us anything about nukes, because we're already the experts. In other words, we don't need him, he needs us. So there's no reason for Iran to send him to us except to try to get info from us. Thus at most he was trying to be a double agent

If so, if he was stealing nuke info from us and then giving us Iranian nuke info as well, we may have double crossed him back by having Hillary addressing him on her server because the military knew she was hacked already, and then the Iranians would find out about him and kill him, which they did.

But that's deliberately wasting an American asset high up in the Iranian nuke chain. He'd have had to piss off some American handler pretty bad for that to happen. Unless Hillary sacrificed him deliberately, simply for a monetary payment from Iran. After all, who's going to object - Jarrett? Lol!

He likely returned for his family - in countries like Iran they torture the family for the sins of the relative they cannot reach. It’s very effective and this man may have been honorable and noble vs stupid as you suggest.

I don’t know why anyone in their right mind would trust the United States when we even contemplate electing this level of corruption and criminality. This administration sold out our friends and supported our enemies across the board. Promises were made in Iraq and Afghanistan that once again we did not keep and people who trusted us died.

This is an absolute travesty - just like the man who helped us get Bin Laden and all we hear are crickets from the MSM. I bet they will try their best to ignore this also so let’s compare the “outing of Valerie Plame” coverage to this story. This should be an absolute firestorm.

P.S. - if a Republican had done this I would call for his/her head. There is no excuse for this - classified information laws and rules exist for a reason. We all suspected this may have happened, but this appears to be a smoking gun.

Will see if people realize how significant this truly is - a man was hung so she could have a private server and delete what she deemed to be potentially harmful. I won’t hold my breath... pretty sure she could club a baby to death on video in front of thousands and still get 40% in November.

Judge Andrew Napolitano, “One of the reasons there is so much anxiety about Mrs. Clinton from the intelligence community is the belief that some of the materials that she handled with such extreme carelessness (I’m using Jim Comey’s phrase, in my opinion it was criminal) but in the FBI Director’s opinion it was extreme carelessness. Contained the names of American undercover intelligence agents some of whom are no longer with us. This is the belief of a lot of people in the intelligence community.”

The minute the IRI realized that he deviated from his planned round-trip to Saudi, he was a dead man in their eyes.
