Hell, we used to just swipe a fire plug wrench from one of our friends’ dad’s tool bench (he was Philly FD) and crank open the fire hydrant... then spray the hell out of every car that drove by....
We opened it up so much it would blast you across the street on your ass, bouncing and rolling all the way.
Then the cops would come, yell at us, “Where’s the wrench?”, and shut it off. We’d wait till they drove away and turn it right back on again...
Great times, growing up there. Rizzo was mayor, and the streets were safe.

It’s funny until you realize that if there were a fire, the homeowners and those living there would be SOL.

Be aware...people are peeing in that pool. Whenever beer and pools combine, pee results. After all, you only rent your beer.
But the dangers of urine are highly overrated. Urine is actually quite sterile - having been cleansed of impurities by the human liver.

Question
Whatever happened to Schlitz beer?
Many years ago it was everywhere.

The company flourished through the 1970s, being ranked as the No. 2 brewery in America as late as 1976. But problems with its production, specifically its attempt to cheapen the brewing process by using a high-temperature fermentation, which produced a product that the public deemed inferior, combined with a crippling 1981 strike by workers at the Milwaukee plant, led to serious financial difficulties. On June 10, 1982, the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Co. was acquired by Stroh Brewery Company of Detroit, Michigan. Schlitz beer is still produced, but in relatively small quantities.
The rights to the Schlitz name now belong to the Pabst Brewing Company.
What remains of the historic Schlitz Brewery complex has been transformed in to a business park called Schlitz Park. Many of the buildings, including the Keg House, Bottle House and Malt House, have been turned into commercial office space and a middle school.

Thank you. I'm not much of a drinker myself so I tend not keep up with the name brands except I have noticed that several once popular ones are no longer around.
