Two suspects who took off on Bourbon Street after punching a man and stealing his wallet were arrested Tuesday (Aug. 2) when Louisiana State Police troopers chased them through the French Quarter, the agency said.
A preliminary New Orleans police report said just before 2 a.m. the suspects attacked and robbed a 28-year-old man on Bourbon Street, near the intersection with St. Louis Street.
State Police spokesman Dustin Dwight said the troopers saw the suspects running down the 500 block of Bourbon and were then informed by the victim the men fleeing had just attacked and robbed him.
Dwight said troopers "saturated the area" and quickly caught suspects Mario Allen, 34, of Kenner, and Xavier Finley, 18, of New Orleans.
Allen and Finley were each charged with one count of simple robbery and one count of simple battery. Both received a $12,500 bond.

Thats “tude” or “swag”. And there are probably gang tats on arms or elsewhere.
Somebody who works with the credit card industry, told me that the French Quarter is one of their trouble spots, an area with lots of pickpocketing and robberies. They gets lots of calls to cancel credit cards which were stolen there.
They have tattoos. You just can’t see them.

I think you answered your own question. These were not good criminals, they got caught.
Yep they want to show the cops taking the photos that they have the gang swagger; that they are tough mother fletchers.
Hope they enjoy prison. Heck may well give them street cred to go to the state pen.
