Even sadder though:
..the girls are the 25th and 26th children to die this year in hot vehicles, more than double the number by this point last summer, said Janette Fennell, president and founder of KidsAndCars.org, a group that tracks such deaths each year.
There is no greater punishment than what the father is putting himself through.
I’ve heard various ways to help you remember including taking your left shoe off and putting it in the rear floorboard.
He was drunk, maybe their was intent. Lock him up.
Dear sweet Jesus! How? How do you ever forget your child is with you? How? I want to cry. I’m at work, though. Damn, this makes me mad.
Breakdown of the family. Moms stay home. Marry a guy who will support you Have kids after marriage.
Ridiculous? It worked for millennia before the cultural acceptance of birth control
Those poor babies
This is why, when I walk past parked cars, I glance inside. I think, if we all made a habit of this, maybe, just maybe, we could reduce the number of children (and pets) who die in a hot vehicle.
My heart is breaking! This is so awful!
Who is this STUPID? It boggles the mind!
My neighbors were fixin’ to go somewhere the other day. They put the baby in the car and were rounding up another kid when the other little sister got out of the car and locked it behind her. With the keys in the ignition.
My wife came in and got me. I grabbed my aluminum meter stick and went out. I was able to slide it around the window frame and partially roll down the electric window. He had his hammer ready but we avoided that. They were pretty shook up.
Everyone was thankful and they offered to get me a new meter stick. You have to make a couple of strategic bends to make it land on the drivers door control panel. But I refused. About the only thing I use it for is to unlock cars.
Never broke a window yet for kids, but I will...
