Yes, the police spokesman said he is just a madman, nothing to see here folks, although as an after-thought maybe terrorism might be a line they will examine, you know just to rule it out of course.
Oh, and the police have advised Londonders not to be alarmed when they see an increased presence of armed officers on the streets tomorrow.
Because as we all know the usual reaction to a random night-time attack by a lone nutcase is to flood the streets with gun-toting anti-terrorist cops the next day.
Just a nutter, no terrorism. That’s the police line and they will stick to it.
