What is wrong with her?
When Gold Star Families enter the political arena, aren't they fair game?
Or have they achieved, by the honorable loss of a loved one, a suit of armor that, behind which, they might lob volleys at a political opponent with impunity.
They are Gold Star Families after all.
In fact, this family is thick as thieves with the Muslim Brotherhood and other Saudi oil interests.
But Greta and the rest of the illiterate GOP establishment is oblivious to the finer details.
Once again, Trump has identified the devil in the details (in the contracts in which he loves to dumpster dive)...and the GOP establishment is still stuck on praise for Gold Star Families.
More evidence that Trump is playing 3-D chess while the GOP is playing checker.
Another freeper reported that the New York Office is just an address that is listed but the office itself doesn’t exist. A company called Regus (or something like that) will, for profit, create an address on letterhead but, in reality, is simply an answering service fielding phone calls. It is used by small companies to impress clients with its supposed classy address.
I’m not explaining it well but perhaps you get my drift?
This needs to go to the Trump staff at:

Any Freepers working on the campaign? If so, send this to the Trump people.
Until they turn traitor. Demanding that moslems from war zones be flooding into America is treason. They are using the death of their child to destroy the constitution he waved in our faces.
Will families be off limits if they have the opposite opinion? What do we do when parents of dead kids are diametrically opposed in their conclusions and opinions? Flip a freaking coin? What happens when another gold star dad begs the government to stop all immigration from moslem terror hotbeds? Are they off limits? Because I bet we could find quite a few in that position too.
Exactly on point. Stay out of the kitchen if you can’t take the heat. I’m really surprised Greta fell for this. You take somewhat sympathetic people and use them as attack proxies, and then when the target responds you decry how he is being mean to the poor sock puppets you just attacked him with. It’s so obvious.
They used to advertise nationwide:
http://www.regus.com/us/business-center/new-york/manhattan/midtown-manhattan
But from what I was told, it’s not really an office - no employees except a receptionist who takes calls for everyone. Perhaps the original poster was wrong or I am. At least I got the name right!
They have nice offices that can be rented for a day or week, maybe even by the hour. So they are really an answering service with a kind of theater office set.
I doubt our founders would agree with this unwritten “untouchable” stance for certain groups. To me it’s the same as other PC stuff of today. Our founders seemed to know how to keep emotional distance from what needed to be addressed or done. Today so many people are so feelings based and too many easily hurt/offended.
Any person who ever lost a family member suddenly, or through some tragic event, or any police person killed in line of duty, or those killed by illegals who would still be alive if our govt did it’s job to secure our borders, and such other horrific or gut wrenching deaths like watching people jump from Towers 9-11 and then seeing image blown up, I’m sure some one knows those people and had to deal with thoughts of all angles of grief with that- to me all these seem similar, they’re all great loss and people left dealing with finding a way to live on.
I do see a difference when USofA had mandatory military service where men went and fought by decree not simple choice, but in recent decades that is NOT the case.
Kahn volunteered, he was paid, it was a job he chose - tougher than many but every single person in this country, in some sense, either fights for this country every day or is working against it. I appreciate those who volunteer to go into military truly, but there also are some who join for benefits so it may not always be pride or security for the USofA as their motive and maybe that is part of some family’s grief too? they knew their loved one had another plan in mind for why they joined and they ache for that loss too?
Kahn’s parents knowing he was joining had much time to prepare for some sort of tragic outcome during his service (God helped me come to peace with possibility some thing may happen to my family since I live thousands of miles from most of them and see them only infrequently).
The mom is still too overwhelmed 12 years later to see a picture of her son sounds like she is not handling grief, but living/camping in it which is a shame because instead of celebrating her son’s great moments and finding joy in her time she had with him, she is stuck in hurt. Mr Kahn as well.
a video I came upon years ago (youtube - Eliot 99 balloons) is very touching but helps to show how to celebrate a life, not stay stuck in grief of loss.
I think the media and even Vet groups who spoke out saying Trump should not have spoke as he did were wrong.
And for Kahn today to say he doesn’t want to fight about this and that Trump is not in control, Mr Kahn started this issue by choosing to speak at DNC.
Mixed feelings...the dude WAS a real hero....no denying that. But obviously the families are being used.
Interesting! Thanks for the explanation.
Dude was a hero, and his family isn’t. It might not sound nice, but its true.
Along with the investment the entire family all get visas probably citizenship as well for all I know.
No telling what all this guy is into. He's smart, well heeled, and super connected from Saudi Arabia to the place where the entire arab world hides their dough the UAE where one of his kids was born. This guy is a true player.Hardly a grieving father giving the speech he gave,it was tooo good a real tip-off.
Circumstances on Capt. Khans death remain under investigation and there are numerous stories about what happened. Question is will Rush or the DBM pick up on any of this?
Just sent some of what i had.
If there is a story out there about this guy setting up his buddies “the bomb” it ought to be somewhere...
I for one do not doubt there could be something like that... a boy will do anything to prove to his daddy that he gets it.
There are conflicting accounts of what happened in iraq. I checked over at LC and they are convinced he set up his squad. Most everywhere else claims hes a hero with little detail. Arlington where he is buried is conflicted as well. In one paragraph they tout him as a hero in another all they say is that the incident is still under investigation.
Jury is out. Hard to say what happened without interviewing those who survived.
Hopefully, any Freepers helping and working with the Trump campaign will help you get the information to the Trump staff.
Democrats say, “yes we Khan”,
and Greta tells us, “no we Khan’t”.
Anyhow: Hey, Greta!, everybody that enters a campaign to assist a candidate, is always fair game.
I found this out years ago. She's a little different kind of liberal mediacrat, soft-spoken, diffident, disarming, polite, mostly fair, etc....but watch her on the few occasions she gets angrily wound up and starts screeching....and then hear the liberal ideology comes pouring out like Niagara Falls....particularly noticeable when her guest is a conservative.
Hers is an emotional, not hard-core, hard-edged liberal mindset.....like Megyn's. She may have a law degree but she is surprisingly naive, idealistic and simplistic in many of her political views. She bases so many of her questions on emotions, not facts and figures. She doesn't have the conservative grounding and experience we have cut our teeth on for decades.
Greta has interesting guests, so I watch her. She is likeable and rather low-energy, therefore, as an anchor and interviewer, she neither offends nor entrances viewers.
I posit that she is watched primarily because there's nothing else to view in her dinner time-slot other than the competing, pathetic, commie news networks.
In the privacy of their voting booths, Greta and her husband, DC lawyer, John Coale (a self-described "Clinton Democrat"), will both vote for Hillary over Trump.....you can make book on it.
Leni
You are 100% correct about Greta, and it gets even worse because that makes her a hypocrite. I respect Hoowan Williams more because he makes no bones about his liberal mindset.
