My car requires you to put your foot on the brake to get it out of park. I guess all vehicles don’t require that.

TEAMWORK. If you notice in the picture (and article) there were TWO DOGS in the car.

It was an older car. An 80’s Ford Crown Victoria it looked like.

I guess all vehicles don't require that.(foot on brake). Both of my vehicles have to have the brake depressed, but my 1964 Plymouth Fury with a push-button transmission certainly doesn't.
