GOT NEWS ^ | JULY 23, 2016 | BY CHARLES C. JOHNSON

Facebook brought down the banhammer on the outreach coordinator for Dinesh D’Souza’s Hillary’s America on Saturday, two days before the Democratic National Convention begins and Hillary is finally coronated.

Journalist and producer Jeremy Oliver works as an outreach coordinator for the documentary Hillary’s America and posted links encouraging other group members to watch and review the film the night it premiered. Shortly after that, Facebook imposed a “temporary restriction” on his posting permissions.

“So let’s go to war by going into their platform and wage an information war.”

“Tweeners for Trump”?

Perhaps another one of those faux cnn msnbc stories? Who knows. Or maybe once the story broke they withdrew the algorithm?

” The only downside is that I get “Missy X wants to be your friend” emails, which go into the trash along with the spam. “

Actually, you should occasionally accept friend requests through Facebook. It makes the Facebook algorithm think your fake account is active and it won’t scrutinize it as much. I have “ friends” from Vietnam, Ethiopia, Brazil, and Indonesia on my fake Facebook account.

I’ve referred to it as Farcebook for several years. The lefties don’t even object any longer when I say it.

A good friend refers to Facebook as “Failbook.”

VK & alpha.app.net are available as alternatives to Facebook & Twitter. Alpha.app.net would need some love, but it is still around as a Twitter alternative.

Point taken.

“Failbook” - good one.

I had a friend set me up with a twitter account so that I could monitor and direct promotions for a music project I was involved with. I guess I’m too slow for twits - I looked at it a few times but could never make heads or tails of it.

I will say that Trump is working it for all its worth and I applaud him as he beats the leftards at their own game.

Don’t they get your IP address when you sign up, and doesn’t that “out” your account as fake? I was thinking of setting one up, but figured I’d have to do it from the computers at the library so as not to be caught.

I think they go by the email address and perhaps the activity. I get suspended every so often but it doesn't stick.

Zuckerberg, that Stalinist, America-hating punk.

How is it that the most Marxist, fascist, corrupt and reptilian of a nation steeped in capitalism and, liberty, and 1st Amendment "rights" are able to monopolize nearly every major social media and mainstream media outlet??

Coincidence OR by design?

Blocking FB on the family wifi is one of the best things you can ever do. I have young grandkids so I’m not worried about them being on it but once I saw the tentacles of this over-arching, over-reaching Octopus of psychological profiling of individuals, data collection, behavioral targeted advertising I quickly shut down the profile.

And everything you put on that profile belongs to FB- it is
their intellectual property .

This intellectual property is forwarded to multiple alphabet agencies and I was not happy about that.

Kids don’t need FB anyway. In fact they don’t nor shouldn’t have to be in front of a screen if you can help it.

Watch for the next trend coming within less than 5yrs-
“Get your kid away from screen,,,,,,,,, teach him/her
handwriting not key punching, etc... and the list goes on.

you did the right thing -blocking FB

Also not allowing direct links from americanthinker.com and townhall.com. when trying yo post, link shows up as broken for several days now. But workaround is to copy page address and go to facebook and paste directly into facebook post.
