Most of those executive orders were issued in his second term, after he would have no longer been up for re-election - a classic scheme that progressives do.

But that simply isn't true. The 22nd amendment wasn't ratified until 1951. Roosevelt didn't decide not to run in 1908 until well past the half-way point of his second term. He wouldn't have know he wasn't up for re-election. In fact, he came back after 4 years to try and take the White House again in 1912.

People. Executive orders are not the issue!!! When Congress passes a law that says, for example, the US borders shall be defend its borders. The President often signs the law adding an executive that says something like, “I will defend the border with border patrol, e-verify, and overhead surveillance.” This sort of executive is rational and normal as withing the powers of the President.

A President cannot put out an executive order saying, “I’m not going to enforce the immigration law that was enacted 25 years ago because I don’t agree with it.” That’s not an executive order. That’s changing the law. Do you see the difference?” DO NOT LET THE MEDIA AND YOUR DOPEY FRIENDS AT WORK DEFEND OBAMA BY COMPARING NUMBERS of EXECUTIVE ORDERS!!! ITS NOT RELEVANT!!! It has been said that Obama has racked up more debt than all previous presidents combined, and the same can nearly be said of Theodore Roosevelt with respect to executive orders.

It is said that Obama is destroying the US military and the same could nearly be said of George Washington with respect to how many apples he ate.

The second sentence makes just as much sense as the first.
