Callers to Fridays episode of Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM expressed their appreciation for the candor of Donald Trumps acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland Thursday night.
Eddie in Florida, a Latino branch manager for an industrial homes company, said that Trump talked to me like a human being as though I was sitting across a table from him.
He added that he talks to his blue-collar co-workers the same way that Trump spoke to the nation.

The Ministry of Propaganda had their talking points issued before he had finished his speech.
There was nothing dark about it unless you want the illegal alien inundation and corruption to continue.
Really? I was just waiting for which word they’re pick. That they decided on “dark” didn’t surprise me. They saw it that way because it steam rolled the left - I’m sure they felt like a dark cloud came over them.
Their mistake is trying to assign a label, the mainstream American saw many of their own thoughts in those speeches. Belittling them alienates voters. They just don’t understand that the standard MO is not going to work.
...next they’ll roll out the “anonymous sexual harassment accusers”. It wouldn’t surprise me if they get some woman to claim DJT raped them. Distort, lie and make shameful accusations without evidence, it’s how they roll. No surprise.
My son said that 3 of his friends who were anti-Trump are now onboard, and my brother who was hesitant is now fully onboard as well.
I think it was on Rushs show where I heard a female caller saying that she would not vote for Trump because his speech wasn’t directed at her. I believe she was a Cruz supporter. She said that because Trump didn’t SAY things like, “smaller government, repeal obamacare, stop abortions, Constitutional Conservative, etc”, that she could not bring herself to consider him.
It’s that purity test. Platitudes = purity you see. Politician after politician stand on a stage and promise purity, and a certain segment are mesmerized into profound trust of these professionals. They never need to see results, they are fine and happy being sung to. BELIEVING in those promises is how that segment actively participates. Once they have decided to believe they do not need to see the promises actually carried out. In their minds the words are the deeds.
Trump doesn’t sing, he thunders. Giving up on a suitor who sings pretty words to win you for a plain speaking man who tells you truths that frighten you is a thing some people will choose not to do.
Remember gravitas? That is what communists do. Rules for Radicals label it to make fun, drive a wedge create a perception.
They are becoming less influential as people become more knowledgeable.

They are professional proselytizers.
In response to lock her up chants, Trump responded with defeat her in November. There is so much common sense and effective strategy in that thought. Keep her in the game so that a full jury, the nation, can vote and put her out of the game.
The only thing the political class has accomplished in the last thirty years is to grow government and their bank accounts. They have not done a damn thing for Americans.
From the article:
“...Trump talked to me like a human being as though I was sitting across a table from him. ..”
YES!!!
—THAT— is what draws people, honest talk, not some wishy washy pie in the sky blathering.
I have been hearing from a lot of people who were on the fence who say they are now all in for Trump.
I do quite agree with you!
But that does not take away of my enjoyment of an entire arena of like-minded patriots at last feeling free to give voice to their righteous outrage!
So Correct, As one that has been on a slow burn anger at the Republican Party process for 8 years, healing is coming.
Praying with you for that healing! Just the prospect of it is a healing in and of itself. Hope is a very powerful force, as is belief. Nominee Trump has given me cause to do both again with more fervor.
As Reagan and Trump have said, along with millions of Americans, “America’s best days are before her.”
They MUST be!
IMHO, our Father has so many blessings he wants to give us, his children, but he cannot until we understand more properly who we are and what we are doing...and why we are doing it.
A wise musician will not hand an untrained child a priceless Stradivarius to play with - even if he wants to, and the child is otherwise worthy. It must be withheld until there is a surety that the gift will not be destroyed. Our Father is teaching us and preparing us to receive that “Strad!” That is where the hope and belief AND action come in. We must all do our part.
America, and her promise of untold blessings, is a priceless Strad which is in our hands. It is our job to grow in wisdom and vision in order to be able to hand this gift over to the next generation. Our Strad has been handed to a generation in which there are actually members who WANT to destroy it. The rest of us respect it and wish to protect it. It has gotten a bit beaten up by the processes at times, but oh the music that comes from her is still magnificent. She is NOT lost and totally shattered, and CAN and WILL be repaired!
Not a perfect metaphor, I know, but I haven’t had coffee yet! :-D
At any rate, I hope and believe we are on the cusp of having an explosion of great joy and God’s blessings! I also pledge to my Father and to all FReepers that I shall do whatever is in front of me to do in order to advance that for all of us.
Sorry for the long ramble... your comments just started me off on such a happy cascade of thought, that I had to write it to you!
Blessings on you!
And you too and all our FReeper FRiends!
