It was all we’re gonna do this, and we’re gonna do that. But no this is how we’re gonna do it.

I am a never Hillary Trump supporter vs Trump as my guy. His speech exceeded my expectations in many areas. He actually did a great job of expanding the tent with his reach out to Latino and black community outlining how bad things are. Gutted Hillary badly, most importantly he communicates to Joe avg American , which of course media doesn’t get. a lot will happen next few months but if he can stay on point I do believe he can win

I agree.

And also, I wish he would have mentioned liberty and the Constitution on occasion.

I'd love to hear him say: "Make America Free Again."

Still, I think it was an effective speech and I think it will win him votes.

Very unconventional.

No way to tell how it will effect the voters he was aiming at.

On the positive side he clearly reached out to non-Republican voters. That’s important as many of them were watching him for the first time.

On the negative. Too long and too loud. Why yell. He’s much better when he’s talking.

“It was all we’re gonna do this, and we’re gonna do that. But no this is how we’re gonna do it.”

A convention speech is not the appropriate forum for getting too deep into how he plans to implement his policies. He’s talked about the how loudly and often throughout the campaign, and his life is a veritable history of getting things done at the highest level.

Clearly you didn’t watch or listen.

Great talking point you got but you missed the big one that’ going from coast to coast - and they depend on you to spread your dissent?

Anyway, the talking point, decided by some 20 something ditz is: it was dark

Hilarious!

Trump has many policy papers out on various issues that are detailed. Tonight was a visionary speech. It was fine. Tomorrow the MSM will tell us what parts were plagiarized a d now num drum and uninspiring it was.

Romney was too wonky, he bored people
Now Trump needs more detail
His plans are on his site

With all due respect, he is the candidate who actually wants to do things, change things...Go to his website and search various positions...There is more detail out there. This was meant to be a vision speech—not a working paper. The speech went nearly an hour as it is.

Hillary wants to continue status quo.

In other words, an Executive speech. A general's speech. THAT is what a CEO does, and any executive does, including a President. He or she defines the mission. Then hires the best talent to implement it.

We have our leader, ladies and gentlemen.

Was it Yada Yada or Bada-Bing Bada-Boom for you?

I liked the Speech. Had a few slow parts near the end, but it did the job. It was better than I expected.

It was an acceptance Speech, not a detailed Policy Speech. It listed Goals and Priorities just as it should have.

Enforce our existing laws, renegotiate existing trade agreements, and reduce immigration for starters. America first.

There really wasn’t time last night to outline each workday for four, or eight, years.

Unlike the dems, he’s not going to tell all of his game plan.

But, if he’s not detailed enough for you, then I’m sure Hillary will always tell you the truth about what see does...just drop her an email, and she’ll get you up to date.

It was all we’re gonna do this, and we’re gonna do that. But no this is how we’re gonna do it.

When an architect with a track record of performance presents his design for a new building, it goes without saying that he would not have to explain how electricity works, what steel and glass are and how bricks are laid. He and the people involved in accepting the design agree that he will hire the best team of experts to sub-design the systems.
