Independents, anti-Trump Republicans, evangelicals, other needed voting blocks?
It was pretty good. Hillary Clinton will be destroyed in any debate she has with him. My guess is she will refuse any debates.
It's not me, the problem is that Trunp did not include America.
As in “God Bless America” get it?

She will never debate trump. The only success she’ll have there is blaming her inability to debate trump on trump
But there will not be a trump Hillary debate.

I liked the Speech. Had a few slow parts near the end, but it did the job. It was better than I expected.
It was an acceptance Speech, not a detailed Policy Speech. It listed Goals and Priorities just as it should have.

Most impressed by how measured, on message. This is the Donald I’ve been waiting for. I’ve always been fearful his antics would scare off people, but this was a genuine guy. If this is not sinful to say, I always was mesmerized by Ronald Reagan’s speeches, but they always sounded like read speeches, even on the TOTUS. This one felt spoken much more naturally, yet he was in control. Notice how he didn’t say, “Get them out of here” re: the hecklers. Big little move for him to compliment the cops and the city of Cleveland.
Plenty enough substance. Motivating.
I want to hear the numbers in viewership. If a lot of folks, enticed by the drama of earlier events tuned in and heard DJT for the first time, they have to be impressed, have to be.
That’s what I think.
Enforce our existing laws, renegotiate existing trade agreements, and reduce immigration for starters. America first.

A Home Run over the fence!
There are two challenges to overcome.
1. Getting someone to actually listen to it.
2. seeing if they can overcome the rhetoric that’s been tossed Trump’s way and believe it.
According to Luntz, it’s about a 1/3rd split among undecideds. A third loved it and embraced trump. 1/3rd were at least cooled to Hillary. And 1/3rd were unmoved.
Well, Obama says “God Bless America” as do most pols, but it really means nothing to them.
Social Conservatives took it on the chin.
If you’re pro life...No mention of the sanctity of life or protecting unborn children.
If you’re pro gay...Congratulations. Even the delegates applauded Trump’s shout-out to the LGBTQ.
In fairness, he did mention that he would like to allow churches more freedom of speech when it comes to political preferences.
