Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol airs his concerns about Donald Trump being the Republican nominee one last time before the Republican National Convention. "It would be a wise thing to do at this convention," he said, "to talk about the kinds of people he would have --reassure people who your Secretary of State is going to be, reassure us that his Attorney General is not going to go after his personal enemies." "Instead, if it going to be this ridiculous personality show, with his wonderful family, the three wives -- that's what he wants to do though. He doesn't want to talk about issues." "While I don't know if he'll name a cabinet," GOP strategist Alex Castellanos said, defending Trump. "You're going to see a bunch of people of that stature -- Chris Christie, Newt Gingrich--" "Oh yeah, that's going to reassure people," Kristol quipped. "Those people are going to be on the news all week," Castellanos said. "Character matters," Kristol said. "If [Trump] can show some character, and not just personality, I think he has a chance. So far he has shown no character."

Hillary might have gotten away with a sleazy deal under Obama, but the statute of limitations has not run out on her crimes. If Trump gets elected Hillary better pray for an Obama pardon

I’m now a lot more interested in what a law-and-order AG / FBI would find in the GOPe’s wallets. Kristol and the rest of the GOPe talk like they’re worried about being exposed.
