They just released a roku app for this. For $30/month you get 55 channels including fox news and discovery..and you can watch on 5 devices at one time! The sling tv service we were using was very difficult to use and buggy and only allowed one person to watch. We also had to suffer with CNN and MSNBC as the only news channels. This is the closest thing I have found to ala carte cable TV. And it gives us enough of our favorite channels to make it worthwhile.

Get one of these instead. All you need is a broadband connection. No monthly fees.

Thanks for this. I pay $100/month for crap service from DIRECTV and Sling didn’t have much of what I wanted anyway. I’ll check them out.

Do you know how they’d show up as subscription apps on Amazon Fire TV?

Looks good. I am planning on dropping Sling and getting this. Way more channels, cloud DVR, multiple TVs, etc. for about the same price.
