Whoops, s/1090p/1080p/
I downloaded Windows 10. Now I cannot get Micrsoft EDGE to work at all. I still have my Mozilla window and Google Chrome that works well.
That's real odd. I haven't had any trouble with it... are you sure the upgrade was error-message-free?
The Obamacare of computer OSs. “If you like your browser you can keep your browser” “If you like your $15,000 engineering software you can keep you r $15,000 engineering software.” “If you like your netflix you can keep your netflix”
Whatever happened to PCs being tools?
When I click on EDGE, I get the message...”Well, we can’t seem to get there from here.” Then I get messages to restart, reload, check my url. I got tired of it and just use my Mozilla which still works just fine.
Also, when I start up Windows 10, it can’t decide if I am in America or Denmark.
Anyone still using Microsoft’s browsers deserve every crapware they have on their “PC”.
Sometimes you have no choice. As a SalesForce developer, I am FORCED to use Edge because SalesForce apparently has a penchant for using Edge-specific features in their developer's UI.
Shades of the 90's when Microsoft encouraged developers to use Internet Explorer specific features, to lock them in.
Now they’re toys.
I bought an iPad 2 when they came out.
To this day, I have no idea what I’m supposed to do with it.
So far, I’ve read a few books, surfed a bit and took it along to see Google maps easier in the car.
Meh.
Hmm...Microsoft Edge...the worst browser in the universe.
I have a 5 year old Apple that plays 1080p streaming (but I use Safari or Chrome).
I - and a lot of others - still use Windows 7 + IE11 - Can’t wtach videos on Twitter ( browser doesn’t support ) and MS does nothing . A million complaints on their support site and nothing . Definitely switching - reluctantly I might add - to Apple next time I buy a computer .
Edge STILL sux. Out loud and in living colour.
Based in Netflix’s own FAQ this is their choice, not MS’. See a lot of MS bashing, or, I’m switching to Apple, in this thread, which is uncalled for. I can watch 1080p videos just fine in IE7-10, Chrome, or Firefox, on my Windows XP, 7, or 10 machines. Have been doing it for years.
Apple is even worse so count your blessings. Osx required silverlight to view Netflix
I too downloaded windows 10. Wish I hadn’t but I don’t use edge either.
