When has the Pentagon reported the crash of a civilian airliner other than perhaps in foreign airspace involving American passengers?
Did the Clinton White House direct a coverup of the TWA 800 incident?
It is not too hard to believe. It is what the Clintons do.
Who are you going to believe, scientists and engineers who investigated the explosion or conspiracy loons on the internet?

On Aug. 22, 1996, just before the Democratic National Convention,
Ms. Gorelick oversaw a critical Justice Department meeting with the FBI.
Immediately after this meeting, as it happened,
all serious inquiry into the fate of TWA 800 came to an end.
I still believe it was a terrorist attack that was hushed up. And the first WTC attack was treated as a criminal matter, not an attack, as it should have been. Perhaps, if it had been, some 3000 Americans would be alive today.
Both Clintons have so much blood on their hands. I would hate to meet my maker if I were either one of them.
I hope Trump’s people monitor this site, because FReepers have long collective memories. We may make mistakes, but they are quickly corrected. We have a large enough group that the truth is sorted out very quickly.

I flew into Boston and landed late. By the time I got to my hotel room and flipped on the TV they were talking about a plane crash. The reporters were interviewing people on the beaches and who owned houses facing the crash. I could not sleep. So, I watched the news that ran this story endlessly. All the witnesses seemed to see it one way. A stream like a firework rocket went up from the ocean. It hit a plane, dividing it in two. The front fell, followed by the rest of the plane.
The next morning, all those interviews disappeared. And so did the rocket. Later that rocket was supposed to be some kind of illusion. It didn’t happen. The witness only said that the plane fell in two parts. Sometimes, even the video of the witnesses was cut to leave out the part about the rocket. I never flew out of JFK again. Too many crashes.

I don’t know what exactly happened, but is it not reasonable to rule out our own military? Presumably if it was done by our military, it would have to be a naval surface to air platform, a launch recorded by many different sources,video, electronic, inventory, not to mention the ship would have to be a general quarters. That too would be logged in various media.
How could you possibly get everyone to not talk about this, even if at first the only personnel that would have known would be the missile tracking folks, radar operators and such.

Oh, please. Anyone with half a bloody brain knew from the beginning that despite the suppression of evidence at the time it was blatantly obvious that it was downed due to a missile strike.
Even here on FR we could see the coverup underway, and the blatant suppression of evidence and dismissal of witness testimony that was occurring on a daily basis.
And now, with the astounding refusal of the FBI to recommend charges against mrs bill we see that this once-hallowed agency is in fact merely another pawn to be moved about as the powers-that-be see fit.
So who really is surprised that this agency bowed to political pressure back then and allowed the lie to be paraded as fact instead of presenting the truth as they are sworn to do?
Where are the mass resignations from the agents who swore to uphold the law now that it is proven that the Agency lied? I do not recall seeing any news story about it back then concerning any resignations, or even recently.
