Jebs’s right on this one for a change. Republicans should always promise up front that they’ll continue to do nothing like they always do nothing, and then their constituency would quit “feeling betrayed” about them doing nothing and continue to vote for do-nothings like Jeb instead of voting for people like Trump who give GOP voters hope that a Republican might actually do something for a change. Never attempt to give GOP voters hope, Jeb: it’s too foreign of a concept for us to understand.

Two things. One, the honesty about how the GOPe was never serious about securing the border is refreshing.
Secondly, now that Jeb thinks Trump will do poorly, I am now VERY convinced Trump is going to win. Never underestimate the curse of Jeb.

Jeb maybe correct for some time into Trump's presidency regarding the wall. I'm not sure of
how the process will work but much of the land is privately owned. It will take some time to get
rights to build the wall either by land owner permission or gov’t expropriation much like
roadway ROW.
But Trump can damn sure put the processes to work to make the Wall a future structure.
