Enoch Powell giving a wagging finger to the UK saying "I was right". This poster sent chills down my spine:
'There comes a time when silence is betrayal'
Sounds totalitarian to me.

OK, this may be a really stupid question or two, but here goes...
Why in the h-—l would anyone in Britain give a rat’s @$$ about what police do in the USA?
And if they do care, what flippin’ business is it of theirs is it anyway?

I think all the BLM protesters here, need to be shipped of to London free of charge. Perhaps cram a bunch into AF1. No return ticket

I don't recall his name, but a conservative law enforcement specialist commented on TV yesterday that we shouldn't kid ourselves into thinking that the radical BLM movement is confined to U.S. shores. It isn't, it's forming in other countries and it's more sophisticated and organized than we think.
We have to wake up on BLM!

Tensions DID NOT reach a boiling point in England, a place that has no connection with the acts under “protest”. Trouble makers are trying (and straining rather badly at that) to start something. These shortsighted asses are going get their wish, eventually, and they’ll rue the day. They don’t understand the nature of their enemies.

‘hands up, don’t shoot!’
If people would just, you know, put their hands up... I guess they’d run out of people to protest for.
I’ve had more than a couple people pull the Black Lives Matter campaign out on me, people I usually consider to be quite sane. ‘Yes, I know all lives matter, but...’ they start with, and my response is: All lives do matter, it starts in the womb, and you should absolutely repudiate those who try to turn it into a racial argument and embrace a far more inclusive, broad and consistent message.
‘But those who say ‘All lives matter’ are trying to hijack the cause...’
Not a cause, an exclusion. You’re trying to make it about one demographic; if you’re going to protest police violence, you also have to protest violence by those who attack police, violence by those who fight police. You can’t disclaim hate while holding up as example those who live in hate.
‘But black men are dying...’
By the score in Chicago; if you’re going to make it about that, then there’s where you need to march.

I had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman from the UK at our local farm market here in Upstate New York.
His accent was distinctive and I asked him where he was from. Interestingly, he said from the UK. I had expected him to say England. We talked for a little while and I asked him about Brexit.
He was happy the old folks stood up in order to regain their sovereignty.
He said the young folks know zip. I told him we have the same problem here.
He's been here for 30 years and was about 65.
He made my day.
