At least one of her hands was occupied since she was busy wielding her phone. I doubt she would have been much help in stopping the bleeding.

I can’t believe what I’m reading here.
This woman could do *nothing.* One lunge to “stop the bleeding” and she’s dead, and her daughter is an orphan. Cops do not let you move around freely in a situation like this.

You don’t know that. The phone could have been on the dash/instrument panel. If she had it in her hand with her hands up, they would have told her to drop it.
