Rastas is certainly impoverished. I wonder about Rastafarian demos. It seems more demonic in practice even though it purports to worship the second coming of Christ.

Referring to people practicing Rastafarianism, a belief that Haile Selassie a.k.a. Tafari Makonnen a.k.a. Ras Tafari (ras meaning duke, or head; tafari meaning trinity, or power of three in Amharic, the most widely used language of Ethiopia)was and is the second coming of Christ. - Urban Dictionary

We grant you the esoteric award for the day, for which there is considerable competition. Congrats!

That is a good point - thanks. Around my home we felt that the original plan was for the FBI to recommend charges, and then Lynch would sweep in and say no. The revelation of the meeting with bill stopped that and the FBI had to say no charges recommended.

What doesn't make any sense is that he would have given the same speech - indicating she was blatantly guilty - then say no charges recommended. He can't possibly hope to keep his job if she wins - he has humiliated her and made things harder for her now. But either way, it proves the dems are in even more control than we originally thought - no way she loses - they won't allow it.

The current demotic sentiment in the United States may help Trump get elected, given the current groundswell of resentment against illegal immigration.

Wishful thinking, which I share.

There’s one law for Clintons-
We know it’s not the demotic-
And it can only be purchased
By the wealthy and despotic...

Just those with enough money
To put top LEO’s up for sale-
Or to make threats dire enough
To keep a Clinton out of jail

The cash or mayhem promised
To give crooked Hillary a pass
Has Comey looking like an idiot
And Loretta kissing Bill’s ass...

The specter of Karl Marx hangs heavily over our nation, as a guillotine above our collective neck. The people are not supreme any more. Now only the supremes are supreme. They are the ones who decide our fate and suck the marrow from our bones.

We will rise up and throw them out or we will succumb to their demands and be enslaved. The LAW is no more, only the power of the powerful.

I’m guessing Comey and Lynch both wanted their families and themselves to stay safe and healthy in the short term-everyone knows the Clintons are all mobbed up, and what happens to people who piss them off-I don’t think either of them looked beyond that-anyway, both of them need to start sending out resumes, because their jobs will be ending at the end of the year, if not before...

It is quite possible the Clintons have underestimated what is going on with ordinary people-not that they’ve ever cared-it may just bite them this time...

I was born an unrepentant rebel, like most of my family-the Basque genes are still dominant-some of them have come to an untimely end in the battle for freedom over the last 200 years or so-I have the famous quote of Zapata’s framed on the wall by my desk-”Es mejor morir de pie que vivir de rodillas”-I consider going out the way rebels used to-with honor-far better than even a golden cage...

Louis. Interesting information on the Rastafarians but the Rastas I was referring to was a black actor/character from many years ago.

His character’s name became synonymous with a less educated person incorrectly speaking English. So it was “Rastas said this, Rastas said that” in corrupted, lower class English.

I liked Haile Selassie. He very bravely fought the Italian fascist invaders, often only on horses or camels, against tanks, and with inferior weapons but incredible courage.

He was known as the Lion of Ethiopia and held in great respect by much of north Africa.

However, since I’m a Bill O’Reilly “simple and humble guy”, I accept your “esoteric award”. It will go on my wall along with my electric bill and property tax notice. I always look at them, on a daily basis because they are forever.

Humbly yours, MadMax, a legend in my own mind!

Thank you for the reply. I do not remember Rastas. Local, perhaps? Sounds as if it was generated through entertainment, a common source for pop culture expressions. Appreciate your friendly input.
