Rastas is certainly impoverished. I wonder about Rastafarian demos. It seems more demonic in practice even though it purports to worship the second coming of Christ.

Referring to people practicing Rastafarianism, a belief that Haile Selassie a.k.a. Tafari Makonnen a.k.a. Ras Tafari (ras meaning duke, or head; tafari meaning trinity, or power of three in Amharic, the most widely used language of Ethiopia)was and is the second coming of Christ. - Urban Dictionary

We grant you the esoteric award for the day, for which there is considerable competition. Congrats!

Louis. Interesting information on the Rastafarians but the Rastas I was referring to was a black actor/character from many years ago.

His character’s name became synonymous with a less educated person incorrectly speaking English. So it was “Rastas said this, Rastas said that” in corrupted, lower class English.

I liked Haile Selassie. He very bravely fought the Italian fascist invaders, often only on horses or camels, against tanks, and with inferior weapons but incredible courage.

He was known as the Lion of Ethiopia and held in great respect by much of north Africa.

However, since I’m a Bill O’Reilly “simple and humble guy”, I accept your “esoteric award”. It will go on my wall along with my electric bill and property tax notice. I always look at them, on a daily basis because they are forever.

Humbly yours, MadMax, a legend in my own mind!
