There is a thread currently running here at Free Republic asking posters to fly the U.S. Flag upside-down as a sign that the Nation is in distress. Disagreement with the proposal abounds, so I have an alternate suggestion: why not fly the 'An Appeal to Heaven' flag from the days of the American Revolution. Flying it would be stepping away from the historical significance of this flag, but I believe the message is appropriate. We need the decent people of this country to make 'An Appeal to Heaven', because that is the ONLY way we put an end to this mess. NO politician will help.

We bought one of their last Virginia Battle flags and we fly it in front of the house all the time now.
I fly the Betsy Ross flag. I may alternate it with the 1st Navy Jack.

I’m looking at your link and can’t find one of these flags there. So next I’ll be looking at eBay. Is their store called “valley forge” there or is it under a different name?
It would be excellent for the people to come into Christendom by embracing Christ.
They have religion. Oh they have lots of religion. They often look real good on the surface.
Christ is for basket cases. Doctors are not needed for the “healthy” but for the sick.
Do we think America is able to be saved? Yes, if we agree with the gospel; a reluctant no, if we are leaning on nothing but religion and pride.
And talking about abortion... we act like this is the most widespread form of the evil that gives rise to it. But it is not. The contempt of the parents for the children is extreme and results in killing of souls far more often than killing of bodies. That’s because the children are no longer viewed as given of God, but only their own chattels.
Because He desired it; not because we deserved it.
As long as we are dancing on a floor of “deserving” we are dancing on perilous ice, ready to cave in at any moment.
So you had best watch out very carefully for any hint of “deserving.”
That was the folly of the Garden. The knowledge of good and evil, was the ability to “deserve.”
But all that could actually be deserved that way, as opposed to in our imaginations, was HELL.
everyone should post upside down flags on their facebook pages, similarly to when people painted themselves on their facebook pages with the colors of the French flag after the terrorist attack killed all those people in Paris.

When does God put a soul into a baby? Is it when they are born, at some point during pregnancy, or is it at the moment of conception?
Does God tell us somewhere in the Bible, or do people have their own individual beliefs about this? Thank you.

I fly the Christian flag.
I have flying old glory upside down for over a year. Also the historical wording on the flag should be “appeal to heaven” as that was the phrase used by the originator of the idea for the flag. The “an” is part of the John Locke phrase. I have the materials to make my own
Life Begins at Conception for without that moment in time, when Man, Women, and God intertwine, no other moment is possible for that Individual!
