Flag is out - first chore of the morning.
I am going to TRY to do a bike ride of 50 miles today (for the # of States). If I can, I’ll try to stretch it to 76 but that would be pushing it. I’m no where near, and never was, the Tour de France shape. They are doing Granville to Angiers (Stage 4), 138.4 miles and they have a brave soul, Frenchman Armindo Fonseca, making a solo ride at 23.8mph! WOW!
I'm really gonn'a LOVE doing this work at my leasure and having a couple of beers ..
'Course the door might not open after the beer but hey ... it'll be installed !
Just make sure to extend the headers if the door is wider....also side 2 bys......good to screw solidly into for deadbolts, door bars, etc.....
I always start on the jamb hinge side and level out from there.
It'll more than likely be an all day event whereas in my yute (sic), prolly could'a whipped it out in a couple of hours
Headers in a mobile then don’t make much sense unless it’s a two-story (haha)....
it's how we communicate, "Hey, I know that stuff, too !"

I’d hang a flag but the only one I have is my father’s from his military funeral in the display case. Way to big to fly, but I think I’ll put it out on the front porch railing, though.
We are waiting for the rain/storms to stop so we can go to the outdoor range to go shooting. Thought that is a fitting way to celebrate Independence Day!
I agree. My BIL is going to bush hog some acreage now that his daughter and husband are in between chicken batches and I plan to let him fire my Garands, Carbines, 03’s and some other goodies.
Happy Independence Day to all my Stateside (and elsewhere) FReeper friends. I’ll go down to the river for some bottle rocket fights to add a little color to the night.
