A New Hampshire woman was arrested and charged with assault after police say she attacked a bank manager with a hole punch on Thursday.
Leanne E. Yerian, 35, of Salem, allegedly attacked a Bank of America manager just after 4 p.m. when the manager refused to cash a check for her. Yerian picked up a metal hole punch from the desk and hit the manager on the head, according to the Salem Police Department.
“The woman then jumped on the manager, pulled her hair, and slammed her up against the wall,” said police.

Reading that headline I thought that police-woman had gone after a bank manager. I was thinking that I’ve wanted to do that a couple of times.
It sounds like it was a three-hole punch. If three-hole punches were banned and only single-hole punches allowed, the potential damage would be greatly reduced.

Maybe 15 years ago, I’m sitting in my large cubicle shared with a co-worker, when two other workers are arguing on the other side of my partition wall. All of a sudden, a bowl of food comes over and the food splatters all over my area. No apologies were given by the woman culprit. Not too many days later, she got in an argument with someone else and threw a 3-hole-puncher (heavy cast iron variety), and it embedded itself into the wall, barely missing the other woman. Needless to say, she was fired. I was then pleased that all she previously threw towards me and my co-worker’s cubicle was some salad.
