The 61 hot dogs and buns equates to 23,790 calories, 1,189.5 grams of fat, 60,390 milligrams of sodium, 2,245 grams of carbohydrates and 793 grams of protein.
Oh, my. The over/under this year is 63.5.

Sudo improved on her 2014 mark of 24 dogs in last years contest when she devoured 38. I'm sure Hillary will be entering this contest! We all know that Hillary can easily gorge down at least 57 hot dogs...all ozzing with mayonnaise.

I have never liked the eating contests. I guess I have never liked the idea of wasting food or maybe it just seems like an awful idea.
I will say that I like Nathan’s the best of all brands. Hebrew National are also good. The best hot dogs I ever had were from a business who used Swift.

No-carbing on a budget I’ve seen far too many hot dogs lately. Blech.
I’d never turn down a bushel of wings, though :) I prefer to savor rather than shovel ‘em though

Good Lord, that kid Stonie could eat me under the table, and I'm twice his weight. And I can throw down some wings. And the same goes for Nathan's dogs. Put 'em on a potato bun, lay on the mustard, onions, maybe a little kraut and dog sauce, and get out of my way. Them and Oscar Meyer Little Smokies. Keep your hands and feet inside the car and away from moving machinery. LOL

If Joey Chestnut is competing, go with him.

I guess competitive eating is so big there are different organizations, kind of like there are multiple Wrestling organizations and they dont compete against each other. Shame, I’d like to see Kobayashi at Nathans up against Chestnut and this new champion head to head.

I will be eating 2, maybe even 3, Nathan’s Franks on the Fourth. I get them at the grocery store. They’re the best tasting franks I’ve ever had.
I wish there was a Nathan’s Famous here in KC, I really miss their fries too.
When I lived in NY, we were just north of the Nathan’s Famous on Central Ave in Yonkers.
