Any “Christian” college that compromises the clear Word of God deserves what it gets. They certainly can’t expect God to help them. Stuff like this certainly doesn’t generate much compassion from Christians for homosexuals - we must be willing to get along but we cannot and will not go against the clearly revealed Word.

Since the Constitution is not being taught anymore, this situation being the root of the problem with respect to unconstitutionally big federal government and hate crime against Christians imo, I wouldn’t be surprised if Christian colleges are unaware of the following.

One of the reasons that the states ratified the 14th Amendment (ratified under very questionable circumstances) was to prohibit themselves from making laws which abridge constitutionally enumerated protections, 1st Amendment-protected speech and religious expression in this case.

14th Amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

In fact, regarding Christians using Section 1 of the 14th Amendment to protect themselves from low-information, pro-LGBT activist state officials, Christians should note that Acts 22:23-30 indicates that Paul claimed his rights as a Roman citizen to save himself from being flogged.

Also, consider that when the Founding States drafted the Constitution, they prohibited the states from establishing privileged / protected classes. This is evidenced by the following clause.

Article I, Section 10, Clause 1: No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility [emphasis added].

So low-information state official who use constitutionally unprotected LGBT “rights” as an excuse to harass Christians are also effectively violating the clause above imo.
