Uh...I didnt know ANY chips were still manufactured in the U.S. anymore? Apple makes chips in the U.S.A. Most other PCs use chips made in China, yet people ignore those traitor PCs and blast Apple. At least Apple is making stuff here.

There are many stateside R&D labs with silicon foundries. There might not be any consumer manufacturing, but they’re there.

Texas Instruments has chip factories all over Texas.(I retired from the one in Houston)
