If you are a person who believes “tolerance” is enough, you are contributing to the problem. You don’t need to beat up an LGBTQ+ person to commit a hate crime or encourage another person to do so. If you misgender Caitlyn Jenner, say problematic and incorrect things about bathroom equality, cringe at the thought of gay affection, or use phrases like “no homo” or “that’s so gay” you are contributing to the culture that fostered this crime.

Sorry but I don’t agree. Of course, I could be way off base, but I believe they say what they say and how they say it because they have received their orders. One thing the libs always seem to do is to present a united front, regardless of the issue.

That is a lie. Only one culture is behind this crime and it has nothing to do with opposition to gay activist excesses. That culture is Islam. The author is committing a truly evil act in attempting to shift the blame to his personal political enemies. His demands are without merit, his twisting of the clear facts truly disgusting, and his case utterly foul.
It will not be conservatives putting the gun to his head. He can, by alienating the people who despite disapproval of his activities, would protect him, give a clear field to those who really would kill him. It is stupid, it is suicidal.
If I were a really good Christian, I suppose I ought to pray for the shooter and his family, but I'm not.
