I guess the point is that the media is biased. But I’m inured to it now. As the saying goes (and it’s a saying I despise) “it is what it is.”
It was a virtual feeding frenzy on Palin from her hair and glasses down to her shoes. Now, if anyone dare say anything about Clinton, it’s automatically “sexist” and anything regarding what she wears is off limits. Liberals are always given a pass on their wealth, their clothes, and the pass extends to their past and even present radical affiliations. Not a single eyebrow was raised when Sanders was endorsed by the Communist Party USA.

I’m not sure if this could be considered an apt analogue. As I recall the lefties were complaining about who was paying for Palin’s wardrobe.

Everything that I learned about the left being basically amoral, I learned from a personal experience over twenty years ago (can not talk about it here or in other forums publicly) that influenced me a great deal to convert to being a conservative. Whenever I read about stories like this, I am reminded of that experience all of those years ago.
And why are we surprised? They also did it to Mrs. Bush. The liberal media only exists for its entertainment value, nothing else.
