How nice... never heard of him.
“Christian” rock star. Sorry. I don’t know any gay “Christian” rock stars.
Pity his children
aND...?
I thought they loved gays...
Let’s cut to the chase: Who was the older male that molested him when he was a boy?
That guy needs to be named and punished, even if it is a family member.
Hey gay dude, “if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off “
More likely a gay guy who called himself a “Christian rock star”.. and then came out as gay.
This is a crock.
“Star”? No.
“Christian”? Double no.
Here’s his “Christian” music group:

Your Gaydar will be screaming...
There was a time when I listened to Christian "pop" music. I never listened to any Christian "hard rock", and never heard of this guy. But one thing I found about Christian pop music is that the content was very lightweight, and often merely alluded to God in almost obscure ways.
Never heard of him and after posting this, hope to never hear his name or about him again. Does he really think it is important for us to no his personal perversion, that he is homosexual?
“This is who I am”.
But it doesn’t have to be who you are. Lay it on the altar. God has a new identity for you.
Who he be?
Never mind. He’s no longer a Christian singer then is he? He’s a perverted secular humanist creep.
Congratulations, dude. You’re a sinner. I am, as well. You apparently are now choosing to live in your sin. Please don’t ask me to treat your sin as more special or less sinful than any others Christ paid the ultimate price for.
Who cares, its his life, I really do not get these people, why do they feel the need to expose themselves instead of just living their lives in peace.
That is some seriously faggotty crap. I managed about 10 seconds of stomaching it.
And this obscure Ohio-based news story grabs the attention of Dallas-Ft Worth TV. Interesting they don’t tell whether he’s planning on staying faithful within his marriage. If he is, good for him; he’s Christian with a challenge.
If he is coming out that he is simply attracted to men, then fine. My problem would be if he is saying he is still a practicing Christian and will now also be practicing homosexuality instead of practicing abstinence.
We should be honest with who we are and not hide behind it. For example, people with short tempers should be honest with themselves that they have this challenge in life. It is a part of who they are, but through Christ it doesn’t have to control their lives. The same goes for homosexuals. I want them to find freedom in Christ in that they may have to live with the “thorn in the flesh” that they will always be attracted to the same gender. The freedom in Christ is that it doesn’t have to let it dominate their lives and there is redemption waiting for them in heaven.
Coming to the altar for a new identity likely won't make the urges go away any more than the urge to cheat on your taxes, cheat on your spouse, speed, overeat or drink to excess.
We all have urges and temptations in our lives, but becoming a believer in Jesus will give you a different perspective on life and enable you to realize that you are not the center of the universe.
