A 33-year-old man was killed and three other people — including rapper Troy Ave — wounded when gunfire erupted shortly before the start of a concert by rapper T.I. at Irving Plaza on Wednesday night, sources said.

This is why local municipalities dread the presence of a nightclub that specializes in hip-hop music. There used be one in the Old Sacramento district of Sacramento, CA many years ago, but they shut it down after a fatal shooting outside the nightclub.

We here in TN have just been left out. Many of us pack heat and I have a good friend who’s an excellent violinist. Nevertheless, he hasn’t been at a single concert where anybody has been shot; indeed, nobody’s even pulled a gun in anger. I’m sad, we’ve been deprived, even with all the eevil guns around here.
