So Hillary Clinton wants to take away all our guns? Now how is that going to go over in Pennsylvania? If all looks well for "The Donald" in Pennsylvania, he will also likely take Ohio. God only knows how Hillary will campaign in Pennsylvania now that she has become anti-coal and anti- self defense !!!
In the 50s, it was a nice place to visit. The 60s onward not so much. When we went to regional ad/hort conventions and trade shows, in the 90s & 2000s, we always CCW’d but stayed away from the many trouble areas. Occasionally, they found their way into our area, and we dealt with them.
They don’t need to secede and join PA. They need to show NYC to the door and wish it well. An amicable divorce.
Trump is different.
And I can see that difference making a YUGE difference here in PA. He could be a Yinzer. He has a blue collar affinity. He is a new Reagan to the sons and daughters of the Reagan Democrats. He promises JOBS not handouts. That is what we want here.
I really feel he can take PA. The T (what Carville referred to as Alabama) and possibly a lot of Pittsburgh. Our families lived thru the end of the steel industry. We get it. Philadelphia not so much. Thats Rendell land anyways.
Of course he was wearing his expensive suit, but who doesn’t like a well-off looking guy that you might see buying some stuff for the farm or ranch?
The whole image is just so superior to that of an elderly shrieking harridan who sometimes barks.
Yes they do!
Pa will have an increase of 2000% dead voters. The Black Panthers will be at the polling places. Obama has already okayed this situation. Phila doesn’t care about gun control issues. The D’s in Philly have illegal guns and use them all the time. Just watch the local news. There may be a huge increase in voter turnout. Possibly 120% over the registered amount.Of note, Va. is registering felons as D voters.
Pennsylvania is even more of an enigma to me than Ohio.
Suburbs are key and also appeal to the conservative religious element in the PA "T".
Having lived in PA for 30 years (no longer), I never get my hopes up. They'll always stand you up at the altar.
It's definitely worth a play and maybe Trump will be the one who will get them to say, "I do" but he best plan other paths to victory.
P.S. If there’s a repeat of ‘68 in PHL, it could reflect badly on the nominee as well alienate those valuable suburban voters.

I hate what we’ve become.
All of these states were detrimental in the revolution against tyranny... and now they are the heart of it.
Pennsylvania is a mirage. Every 4 years the Republican campaign puts PA in the “toss-up” category only to lose by a significant percentage. The Pennsylvania legislature needs to sit on Philly and Allegheny County for their election shennanigans. But that never seems to happen.
The hunters & gun owners in PA are already voting — just once. Can’t say the same for Philly-Pittsburgh-Scranton Dems.
