A South Carolina tow truck driver who supports Donald Trump for president refused to help a motorist stranded on the side of Interstate 26 Monday because of her Bernie Sanders bumper sticker.
Kenneth Shupe, who owns Shupee Max Towing in Travelers Rest, told a local ABC News affiliate that he “drew a line in the sand” when he saw the sticker on Cassy McWade’s stranded vehicle in Asheville.
“Something came over me, I think the Lord came to me, and he just said get in the truck and leave,” Mr. Shupe said. “And when I got in my truck, you know, I was so proud, because I felt like I finally drew a line in the sand and stood up for what I believed.”
Ms. McWade, who had been in a minor car accident, said Mr. Shupe had already started the process of towing her vehicle when he suddenly changed his mind.

Those are the words that lead to the loss of liberty. Trump fights back. We should too.
Memo to Mr Shupe: Next time you hear "the Lord" telling you to do something obviously un-Christian like leave a handicapped woman stranded on the side of the road, remember -- the Devil knows how to throw his voice.
It is worth it. There are other, better ways to fight the battle. Make her pay up front.
Remember the song “Don’t pay the Ferryman”? That applies here. Pay first then get the service. How does this man know he’s towing at car of a person that’s a Bernie supporter that does not have a sticker on the car? His reason is illogical just because he saw the sticker. He should make all people pay up front just in case they are Dems with out obvious signs who may stick him up for money.

As long as she wasn’t refused a tow for being gay, lesbian or trans this is not a big deal.
I listened to that song after I spoke.....Wrong song sorry!!! Was thinking of another one. Now can’t think of it.
Bottom line, you know what I mean. Get your money up front, don’t get screwed over.
As for this young woman, she should get Triple A, it’s worth it! Get a Gold Card from Triple A!
Hopefully she’s not a lesbian or “transgender” - if so, he will be sued for his intolerance...... and all towing services will be put on notice.
I think the original headline was “disabled motorist”... of course “disabled” became “handicapped” ... etc...

So she was like going to jump in the tow truck and go with her car?? I posted a story with her picture. Don’t think so.
A Hadicapped placard does not always mean handicapped. I see plenty of fatties and lazzies driving around with them.
Go to the malls where I live.
There is an extraordinary high number of BMW’s and Mercedes driven by Chinese, who have placards.
They are young and healthy.
