On Thursday evening, a 40-year-old man with dark, curly hair, olive skin and an exotic foreign accent boarded a plane. It was a regional jet making a short, uneventful hop from Philadelphia to nearby Syracuse.
Or so dozens of unsuspecting passengers thought.
The curly-haired man tried to keep to himself, intently if inscrutably scribbling on a notepad hed brought aboard. His seatmate, a blond-haired, 30-something woman sporting flip-flops and a red tote bag, looked him over. He was wearing navy Diesel jeans and a red Lacoste sweater a look he would later describe as simple elegance but something about him didnt seem right to her.

The author is a Jewish millennial who inherited hostility toward WASP America from her parents.
Just funning * the spell check with a correct spelling "aeroplane".
Bad name? But forming an and opinion calling someone a ditz, and stupid, after hearing one side of a story, and that is what it is, a story, is intelligent? This isn’t reporting, it is propaganda, but surely enough provides enough information to form an opinion that the female passenger was a ditz.
But she was blonde. That should have alerted authorities to cluelessness right there.
did not know enough about math, to know it was math......We no longer need such things. The ‘puter does it for you.
The woman was a double idiot. The safest plane on the runway after that would have been the original plane. The one she switched to could have had someone writing in cursive.
“The goal of the article is to enable terrorists.”
That’s the goal of the entire left
and their media.
That’s pretty embarrassing...
What do you post when the Washington Post writer is black?
[They have lots of them]
Scary, isn’t it. People don’t know what a math equation looks like.
This is why I never talk to anybody on airplanes, and I fly two, three times a week.
Thank God for noise canceling headphones and a tablet full of TV shows.
I have a flight simulator program that I was using one day and one of the other passengers actually asked me if that was our plane that I was flying.
The lady’s chain of thought:
7 + 2 = 9 Terrorist math
Seven plus two = Nine Not a terrorist math
Blackness is plain for everyone to see, so I’d post nothing.
So you only point leftists you think are Jewish.
Watch videos of goats and mumble ‘ya habibi’.
And notice the obvious selectivity of the Post’s choice for a human interest story. Is this incident more typical of what is happening in America right now—this example of someone rushing to an unfair ethnic influenced judgment directed against an “Ivy League economist”—than one of the vicious examples of ethnic & occupational hatred being displayed by such groups as “Black Lives Matter,” in their ongoing vilification of those risking their lives in law enforcement in “inner city neighborhoods?”
Ivy Leaguers should all be on the no fly list.
Seriously, the woman is a bit dense, but good for her for saying what she thought. At least she isn’t paralyzed by political correctness like most of the populace. If TSA wants people to keep their eyes open, there will of course be false “positives”. All we need is one false “negative”, though, and down goes a plane. Washington Post just doing their usual lefty thing at every opportunity.
I’m sure the Post also applauds yesterday’s election of a Muslim mayor of London as well. Probably something like “a victory of inclusion over fear. And we hate Trump!” Truth is, London has fallen, and dollars to donuts his first move will be to cripple the police.
Did the airline act stupidly?
