I’m glad the Bush clan decided to snub Trump. It only helps the cause, and hopefully puts the final coffin nail in the Bush dynasty.

Next up: Bury the ‘toons.

In any sane and rational world, being snubbed by the Bush family would be an actual requirement for holding political office. ;)

It probably has a lot to do with the way Trump treated Jeb.

George W. Bush's record in office, for all of the gains it meant for conservative ...

Homeland Security, TSA, Iraq, domestic surveillance (NSA) ... off the top of my head.

So the Bushes are skipping the convention?

Good! Time to get outta the bushes!

We’ve had enough of their political dynasty.

Twice in a lifetime is more than enough.

At this point in my life and having lived through the deceit, lying and incompetence of at least two Bush’s and dodging a bullet on a third, I don’t consider an endorsement by a Bush any plus at all.

Even today, Bush’s TSA in Atlanta is embarking on a whole new plateau of citizen oppression with their new “remodeling” to “serve us better.” Lines HOURS long now.

I hope this signals the end of the Bush dynasty, and that Hillary’s defeat will likewise be the end of the Arkansas trailer-trash Clinton dynasty. We don’t need no stinkin’ dynasies! This is America, dammit, not some European monarchy1

Bush greased the skids for Obama to whom Bush, at Obama’s inauguration, wished Obama good luck in his endeavors a President. (Chaney’s look at the same time showed he wasn’t so duped.)

Bush is CLUELESS and definitely part of status quo institutional problem in America AKA “the establishment.”

Many, if not most conservatives voted for the Republican candidate over the Dem candidate while holding our noses.

Remember, the Bushs are “low energy”.

When Trump beats Hillary, he will have rid us of both the Bushs and the clintons in one season.

Not an easy task.

Obama will be gone in januarary, along with his czars and admins, then people like Reid, palomino, McConnell, Ryan, etc will wander aimlessly for 40 days without that leadership.

Oh the humanity...

The fact that the Bush’s snub him is WHY they are not in favor any more.

They are ass hole RINO’s, and Trump is a RESPONSE to anger over that.

The eGOP *STILL* do not get it.

They are acting like “Ok, I guess we’ll LET YOU run...” when in fact they should be LUCKY if he even talks to them.

Trump is an ANSWER to the repeated lies and promises and failure to deliver of the GOP

Perhaps GHWBush still has butt-hurt over the Perot insurgency and views Trump as being from the same mold. Trump has been critical of GWBush on mid-east policies and other topics. Little wonder that the Bush folks are not embracing Trump like they have embraced Bubba Clinton in the post-Presidential love fest of the three ex-presidents. Trump has both distanced himself from the GOPe all the while expanding the “tent” of the GOP - which the GOPe HATES, like Harry Reid’s comment about ‘you can smell the visitors’....

The anger can’t be associated with the Republican base.

The Bushes NEVER were part of the base!

Any association with any Bush would not add votes in the general and might subtract some.

Bushes’ snub of Trump has roots in Republican base anger

I think it's more due to the whupping Trump laid on poor Jeb!.

This article attempts to explain conservative unhappiness with the Bushes without even mentioning immigration, trade or the Iraq war.
