I have always been amazed that anyone would pay attention to Bill Nye, a pretend scientist in a bow tie, Coleman said Friday, according to ClimateDepot.com. As a man who has studied the science of meteorology for over 60 years and received the AMS (American Meteorological Societys) Meteorologist of the Year award, I am totally offended that Nye gets the press and media attention he does. And I am rooting for the Climate Hustle film to become a huge hit bigger than An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore, Coleman said.

The film “Climate Hustle” is in theaters tonight only if you’d like to support the filmmakers.
After John Coleman is dead, I’ll tell you a story.
He doesn’t claim to be a scientist—just a “science guy.”
I’m going to hold you to that
You know where to find me.
Sad.
Bill Nye the Commie Guy that wears a bow tie.
Still waiting for California to fall off into the ocean so I can have beach front property in Arizona.
Sure it would raise the value of my property.
Can’t they make any predictions right?
Don Herbert, he isn't.
Not even close.
Never missed Mister Wizard's show.
Because SCIENCE! ;)
There should be a pay-per-view grudge match between Bill Nye, and Joe Bastardi.
He has a B.S. in mechanical engineering. Approximately 17,000 students graduate with a Mechanical Engineering degree (Bachelors or higher) per year.
Only about 1,440 jobs in Mechanical Engineering are created each year. So more than 10 graduates per job. And, with the radical increase in H1-B Visas, that ratio may double or triple.
So had Bill Nye not become an “entertainer”, odds are that his job experience would equate to french fry cooking.
He looks like the dangerous stranger mom warned us about
Ah yes! Ren and Stimpy! One of my old favorites too. Happy-Happy-Joy-Joy!

I saw Bill Nye at an Angel baseball game in Anaheim a few years ago. He walked up and down the staircase to make sure everyone saw him. Since So Cal is saturated with movie stars, fans just ignored him and he looked like a stuck-up sissy fool.
I saw it tonight. It was entertaining and very funny in places, but I didn't learn anything new. I just wanted to support the filmmakers, as you said.
I don't think any Freepers that frequent our board will learn anything new from it, but it is worth seeing when it comes out on VOD/BD.
This is fascinating, considering The Weather Channel appears to be one of the biggest pushers of the Climate Change religion out there.
