I just love how media likes to describe foreign persons who have obtained citizenship from and an America-hating President and State Department as “Americans”. Nothing of the sort.

Do we know they weren't native born Americans?

No, I don’t but I also wasn’t surprised to not see any pictures or history essays about what great borne Americans they were. Even if ‘American born’ that doesn’t mean they were ‘foreign influenced’ from birth by foreigners - parents, schooling, contemporaries, etc.
