A pro-family group has launched a boycott of Target after the retail store made it clear on Tuesday that its bathrooms and changing facilities can be used by anyone according to their gender identity.
The American Family Association said that more than 162,000 citizens signed its #BoycottTarget pledge within 24 hours.
“Corporate America must stop bullying people who disagree with the radical left agenda to remake society into their progressive image,” AFA President Tim Wildmon said in a statement. “#BoycottTarget has resonated with Americans.” …

But I was told by many a Freeper yesterday that no one cared about this issue.
No one has addressed the issue of women who are on their periods and are doing some very intimate hygiene in the lady’s room. It’s not just about number 1 and number 2.
I don’t think the problem is the ones that use the the women’s room who are well behaved and “look the part” so to speak, the problem is the obvious males in dresses who sound like a trucker and walk like a trucker and act like a trucker...
Also if anyone one of these Cross-dressers came into the restroom while I was using it and used it normally and kept to themselves an didn’t pee standing up, I don’t think even I would have noticed and I am fairly observant.
The problem comes when one of them does something monumentally stupid like peering under the stall, peeing standing up, or talks in a masculine voice that you run into situations where the women in the restroom start having issues with them.
The problem is with the liberal hubub about this issue is that now all the women will be looking at each other each time they use the restroom and if there is a woman who is a bit manly even though she is 100% woman (there are some women who are 100% genetically XX chromosome, but have deep voices and husky builds etc...)things could get ugly as they may start being accused of being a freak now that everyone is scrutinizing everyone that uses a restroom. I had an aunt that was “Damn manly” and she gave birth to 5 kids so we know she wasn’t a transgender and her daughters were a bit husky too. Just the genes i guess...
In reality this whole bathroom issue was not a problem, but the liberals made it a problem because their agenda is running out of steam and with them it is, Agenda, Agenda, Agenda, Agenda, Agenda, Agenda, ad infinitum...

Every time I walk through a Target, there’s nothing I want to buy.
And on the flip side, if these two individuals comply with North Carolina law and use the restrooms that correspond with the sex on their birth certificates, they're liable to get their asses kicked by some father or husband who sees them following their daughter or wife into the women's restroom.
Yet complying with the law would mandate that these two women use the women's restroom.

It is not the trans people who are the problem directly. There are so few of them as to be almost negligible.
The potential problem are non-trans people (99.9999%) who might take advantage of such a law to just cause mischief if nothing else.

Presumably, a trans person would not be put off by that.
Some women can be very disgusting with their used products in public restrooms and it is off-putting even to other women.

They look like men. If they don’t have a plumbing modification they would likely use a stall in a men’s bathroom. If they would use a urinal, facing forwards, I would not check their plumbing. I don’t do that. If they backed up to a urinal and sat in it to pee I would wonder what’s up. Have you ever seen a woman dressed as a man sit in a urinal?? I haven’t.
