So teens who are old enough to develop at least a basic sense of right and wrong steal a car, drive like a bat of hell through the most congested parts of Pinellas Cty, ultimately losing control and plowing into a lake and drowning, never mind the other lives they put at risk. And it's the cops fault. More BLM logic at work. Tragic, but play stupid games, win stupid prizes, a simple concept that transcends race.

After watching the video and after serving 25 years as an LEO I say the cops did the right thing. I would not have jumped into that water with the vehicle already submerged and no visibility.

With my luck a pesky alligator would have got me.

I was a Paramedic for 5 years. I did some risky things to save people, but there is no way I would have entered a pond at night.

I know I was not a “perfect” 15-year-old either, but dang! Pretty sure I never even dreamed of stealing a car, much less leading the police on a high-speed chase.

Aren’t parents on the hook for damages when minors break stuff? When they gather to protest, serve them with bills (including removing the mud from any responders’ uniforms).

The world is a better place without these three; I know they were young, but I hope they didn’t already breed...
