Aretha Franklin reacted to the death of Prince today on MSNBC: Franklin speculated that Prince died because of Zika. "But, you know, they're saying flu-like symptoms. i'm wondering if it had anything to do with this Zika virus," said Franklin.

I can only imagine how many 19 years olds know queen of soul now.
She is a great singer. I have no idea her expertise on infectious diseases.
They probably think it’s Beyonce.
Body proportion wise Aretha has a small head.
Doctor Franklin has received twelve doctorate degrees. All honorary.
I’m sure that her medical knowledge is legendary.

He kept the illness quiet but began taking his medication RELIGIOUSLY up until about two years ago. Here’s what we’re told by a VERY trusted entertainment insider: “[The celebrity] believed that he was cured, and he had some crazy [religious] people who told him that God cured him. So he stopped taking his medication and the sickness came back. But it sounds like he literally collapsed and died in the elevator. So it either was an aneurysm or a heart attack.
This is what I’ve been hearing as well. It sounds fairly believable, considering Prince became a Jehovah Witness some years back. They don’t even like accepting blood transfusions.
Well at least then we know if Prince got AIDS it wasn’t via transfusion.
I read a fairly long article that said he has been suffering from influenza for weeks.
Influenza kills tens of thousands in the US every year. It is not a trivial disease. Influenza is especially dangerous for the very young and very old. At age 57, Prince’s immune system may already have begun its age-related decline, making him more susceptible to serious disease.
Having said that, I will point out that it is way too early to speculate about Prince’s untimely death. Even if an autopsy has been done, the results have not been determined yet.

I thought he became very religious and swore off drugs.
death doesn’t make sense in a thin 57 year old without any known illness.
The charts from his ER visit last Friday will be looked at VERY closely.
Living alone and trying to self-medicate and eschewing medical care didn't help.
