Filehippo.com is pretty good and they have previous versions of many software programs.
I occasionally have to return to an older version of some programs because the latest greatest turns out to be crap.
It usually isn’t the program itself that is the problem, but the installer routine that delivers malware along with the program you wanted. If I see or hear of something highly rated or recommended, I first contact the company that made it to get a clean download to try out.
