IIRC they locked down the campus and all; the state school, which in the past had a decent reputation, is probably just an affirmative action preserve by now. I believe they lost their accreditation a few years back (probably because they admitted useless tokens like this).

My wife is Thai. She speaks central Thai, the northeast dialect (sort of Laotian), a bit of Vietnamese and has done very well in English. Enough to do several courses at a community college here and get a GED. WTF is wrong with these people?

Like chicks that aren’t forced to kick their own way out of their shell at birth, they have lost any vestige of self-reliance; they’ve been reduced to a practically vegetative state of child-like dependence. I’m convinced that without racial preferences, black unemployment in urban areas would be at least 95%.

Sadly, it wasn’t always like this; after slavery was abolished some blacks persevered and secured a better future for their offspring despite segregation, Jim Crow, etc.. Someone like Frederick Douglass made much more of the opportunities afforded him than many make today (including whites, BTW); black Africans are shocked by the opportunities squandered by American blacks today.
