Saw this on the program guide and I couldn’t stomach watching it for more than 15 minutes. I guessed how the writers were going to portray the events, and I was not disappointed.

This is a circus. Its a national disgrace [yea, hang your head because I mean you Biden, you mean, lying, hateful, accusatory prick]. Its a high-tech lynching for uppity Blacks, who in any way deign to think for themselves. And it is a message, that unless you kowtow to the old order, you will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured
by a committee of the U.S. Senate rather than hung from a tree.

ANITA HILL NEVER ACCUSED CLARENCE THOMAS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT. SHE SAID SO HERSELF.

Ironic that the Anita Hill HBO movie tag line includes the phrase to change history. It is what fascists always do.

40 years from now they’ll have the Trump story. With supporters carrying clubs and knives and attacking the peaceful protesters while giving off the Nazi salute.
It will have a section where Trumps campaign manager murdered a reporter in full public view and recorded from multiple sources get off from some shady back room deal from misogynist police and district attorney.

I never have looked, and never will look,to HBO (or many other sources) for accurate, unbiased accounts of US history...particularly *recent* history.

Hill is doing a round of media interviews to promote the film, and Totenberg and Abramson are happy to talk about it as well...Totenberg even showed up on Fox's "Media Buzz" yesterday and was given pretty much a pass by the host - like cancer, they never go away.....
