If sin were no big deal, then Jesus wouldn’t have had to endure nails in his hands and feet and cruel, slow, asphyxiation on a cross to pay for our sins.

Not everything Jesus said and did was recorded on paper. In John 21:25, it’s remarked that if all of Jesus’ acts on earth were to be recorded in books, that the world couldn’t contain the volumes necessary.
Furthermore, by quoting Deuteronomy 8:3 as he was being tempted in the wilderness by the devil (Matthew 4:4, Luke 4:4), Jesus points out that the anti-homosexual verses in the Old Testament (Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13) is part of “every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”.
Jesus had much more to say about the sin of adultery, divorce and living together than he ever said about homosexuality.
I once counseled a young man who was snarking at queers. I showed him passages about fornication as it compares to homosexuality and asked him if he thought that living with his girlfriend was different or not different than living in a same sex relationship.

To me, it's very evident that Jesus is talking about pedophiles "grooming" children.
So what if He did or did not?
The Holy Spirit through the NT writers, did.
In the OT it sure does. The OT and the NT are not at war with each other.
The world has always had homosexual practices, of course, but giving the act a preferred legal status, particularly for “marriage” is a fad and a fever which out of 10,000 years of human civilization, seems to have been invented by Americans in the past 2 decades.
He did not address people putting a crucifix of him in a jar of their urine as art, either, but I am guesing He would have a negative opinion about it.
The fact there may not be a quote for every sin does not mean anything neutral or affirmative, that is just wishful speculation on the part of people who commit whatever unmentioned sin is being discussed.
"Go and sin no more."
The argument that Jesus never condemned homosexuality as a sin is a red herring. Jesus didn't specifically name many things that are considered sin. That does not mean homosexuality or adultery, gluttony, alcoholism, drug addiction and hundreds of other things aren't sin.
They are.
Similarly, Jesus didn't differentiate sin meaning homosexuality is worse than adultery, which is worse than alcoholism.
Quite the contrary. In Jesus' view, "sin is sin" in the eyes of our Lord. No sin is less offensive than another and we are all sinners.
Personally speaking, I consider myself the worst of the worst no matter what room I walk into or who is there. Some might call that humility. I'm not so sure. I am just blessed to have seen myself through the Lord's eyes and know what a sinner I really am. Convicted.
“Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus did not annul the Law, He came to fulfill It
What these people don’t stop to think about is that the Jewish scriptures say plenty about the sin of homosexuality and Jesus, while on earth, was a faithful Jew.
Eph 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
He stated that any community who resisted the Gospel would be worse off than the Sodomites when He judged them.
Mt 10:15 and Lk 10:12
I would say that is enough of a statement from Jesus to demonstrate His disgust concerning homosexuality.
"At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."
“Go, and sin no more.”
That addressed it adequately.
Here’s the thing- God called it an abomination, and Jesus NEVER refuted that- Even though He didn’t address the issue, it is still an abomination in the sight of God- Period- Had Jesus meant to do away with this fact, He would have said something along the liens of ‘Verily Verily I say onto You that You have heard it said before that homosexuality is an abomination, but I tell you the truth, it no longer is seen that way- times have changed, and seeings how so many people are doing it these days, We’ve changed our minds on the idea that it is such a grievous abomination of natural law that we condemn it with all possible severity’
Obviously He did not say anything even remotely akin to this- IF homosexuality is no longer seen as an abomination, then neither is pedophilia, bestiality, witchcraft- sex with the dead etc etc etc because by golly Jesus didn’t mention those either so that must mean He approves of them now? According to the twisted logic of sinners looking ot get a free pass while they commit the abomination of homosexuality
Jesus DID address the issue - in the OT as God. since the statements were clear then, as reiterated by Paul in the there shouldn’t have been a need for him to address it on earth.
