PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi said Monday the company is reshaping its product lineup to better reflect the growing interest in healthy eating and noted it has reduced its reliance on colas for sales.

The maker of Frito-Lay snacks, Mountain Dew, Naked juices and Quaker Oats now gets less than 25 percent of its global sales from soda, Nooyi said. And she said just 12 percent of global sales comes from its namesake soda.

Representatives for PepsiCo were unable to provide how those figures have changed in recent the years.

It’s the Aral Sea, and there are causes other than human in that case. The drying out is too rapid.

Interesting and worth pondering.

Now the estimated amount of fresh water on the planet is 6 quadrillion. That's an incredible number. Now consider the Earth's population at around 7 billion. The average human uses 2.4 gallons of water a day. Let's round that to 10 billion people consuming 2.4 gallons of fresh water a day. Thats 24 billion gallons a day - or 8.76 trillion gallons a year.

So the human race consumes approx. 1.2 per cent of the available fresh water every year. Of course, all of this is eventually recycled into the world supply. (You just don't want to think about where the water you drank today has been over the past few billion years).

Now if you count ALL water, including salt water, we have 326 million TRILLION gallons available on planet earth.

That's just a crazy amount of water.

Only time I drink Pepsi is in the hospital.

They bring cans of it and ice for me to my room, when I'm in for a spell. [Is that not cool?]

Also fountain self-serve it in the cafeteria. Love their food, believe it or not. Nice hot lunch and pop for $3.98! I go there for Pulmonary Rehab 3X/wk, so always eat there as a treat. Pathetic, ain't it?

Burp!
