20,000 lesbians in the desert: welcome to the Dinah, a world without men
For five days in Palm Springs, Arwa Mahdawi entered an alternate reality where gay women celebrate each other with pool parties, dancing and debauchery
Every year at the end of March, 20,000 lesbians from around the world fly into the Californian desert for five days of debauchery, and Im one of them. Its my second time at the Dinah, also known as the largest girl festival in the world. Im staying at the Hilton in Palm Springs, which is hosting the famous Dinah pool parties, and the hotel feels like a homosexual harem.
Its a surreal experience: for a few days the world is turned upside down, the minority is suddenly the majority. Everywhere you look, lesbians are smiling, drinking, dancing, kissing. There are a few men around staff working the event and guys who have been dragged along by lesbian friends but they are hard to spot. Its basically entirely queer women in attendance.
The party is named after the Dinah Shore golf tournament, started in 1972 by the eponymous entertainer. Dinah Shore wasnt a lesbian (shed be doing somersaults in her grave if she knew what her moniker was attached to now), but golf seems to attract a lot of lesbians. A sapphic scene sprouted up around t

Dykes of the desert
Dennis Prager has a discussion on how female sexuality is more fluid because sexuality is driven by her desire for intimacy - and if she doesn’t feel loved and committed to by guys, she’ll pair off with a girl who feels the same way.
In that case, she’s “lesbian” for having a female partner to live with and sometimes seek sexual satisfaction with, but still open to guys.
You see this with the California trio that started as two lesbians and added a guy.
Artificial insemination, too.
I saw two lesbians at TacoBells yesterday. They were all over each over and trying to draw as much attention to their “relationship” as they could. Usually I’d get mad and disgusted but I just gave them zero attention and felt bad for whatever is wrong with them for acting that way. Combined weight was about 600 lbs by the way.
“Epitaph Road” is actually a scifi novel of that very concept, where an engineered pandemic actually kills off 97% of the men, a well placed female group gets elected to enforce it as such after through sperm sorting for children created via artificial insemination and requiring men to have permission to have kids and biasing their sperm production to female.
Then you find out the plague was released by feminists who really did think world peace required removing men and reducing the population - which the plague did.
Wow - the 500 lb one must have been ugleeee ...
Actually their weight was similar but one was way uglier with a buzz cut.
Today? No. But it's worked with lab rats, the fundamental approach is sound. It's probably just a matter of time before it is tried with humans, and then it will scale as demand grows.
Our time as men may be coming to an end, unless we can convince the Powers That Be to make lids of jars even harder to open...
Or grow more spiders that need killing.
My point is that the cost will be horrific. And I don’t just mean monetary.

[btw, I've pinged everyone on my list -male and female, to see if you'd like to have a career in politics. Last August, I made a post of gay men and lesbian judges for the same reason. To see if any of those I pinged -would like be on that Nov 2015 ballot ..for a political office. This post is for the same reason. To have a conservative win a spot from an LGBT and have a career in political office and -remove LGBTs from their position of political power.
Unfortunately, there was one freeper who took offense as why I pinged -his/her name, and was upset about it. He / she didn't understand my good intentions that day and thought I had pinged him/her to embarrass him/her. That person did not get the big picture of what I was trying to accomplish and that was truly unfortunate. So, everyone I've pinged now -it's only because you/him/her might want a career in politics. And help our conservative cause by defeating a LBGT this coming November. Nothing more implied. (if anyone I've pinged wants on or off my ping list, please fr mail me]
Ew.
20k lesbians. that’s disgusting.
I couldn’t run for office because I have more skeletons in my closet than in a graveyard!!
They almost always use the word debauchery when describing their events. sick.
So does Obama, but the media covered for him.
I couldnt run for office because I have more skeletons in my closet than in a graveyard
All in all it was rather sad and pathetic.
incredible isn’t it?
but one of us, they’d leave no stone unturned
In my humble opinion, I don’t care all that much about candidates’ sexual preferences or problems. Their politics and political integrity ( and since 0bama, their loyalty) are my top priorities. Meaning, Hillary strikes out 3 for 3. (yes, I know— 4 for 3 if you include her sex issues but I’m not doing that). Anyway, thanks for your note but I want to focus on getting people like Obama, pelosi, Reid, McCain, Hillary, etc. out of government ASAP. Thanks
A Horse With No Mane ping. Thanks Mr Apple.
only thing worse than this would be a homo man weekend..
Yes, and damn a child to a fatherless screwed up existence.
most likely crabs.....
