The canal zone was deemed US property.

If you try to use the logic of foreign birth like this....then you have probably around three-quarters of a million Americans who came from military members stationed overseas and the mother gave birth there, and trying to explain how they aren’t “real” Americans. The logic won’t work.

If it were my call, I would never eliminate a baby born to military overseas from running. However, why did congress pass a resolution? Is it the USSC’s role to interpret the constitution?

I am one of those foreign born births. That is the reason I happen to know what 'natural born' US citizen literally means. IT is akin to a birthright and ONLY two citizen parents giving birth to their child on US soil bequeaths that birthright.

I was born in Germany to a US citizen soldier and a US citizen mother... But the US NEVER claimed Germany as US soil. I do NOT have a born in USA birth certificate... Parents ought to be educated if they desire to bequeath 'natural born' US citizenship to their offspring.
