A lot of this running is due to the knowledge they will go through withdrawal in jail.
When I was doing EMS, prisoners would recite a litany of drugs they were taking. Of course, they lost the prescription script for them but they really needed them.

You have to understand
how she gonna get her money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point of view.

Drugs are a victimless crime. [/s] But actual crimes, like strong arm robbery, aren't. The excuse doesn't matter...

AppyPappy @2:
"A lot of this running is due to the knowledge they will go through withdrawal in jail."Combining the technological functions of an ankle monitor and a taser might be helpful. (Not as explosive as the neck collars of the "Deadlocked: Escape from Zone 14" movie).

Not a word on how the 85 year old guy is doing. Bones are fragile at this age and knocking them to the ground could easily result in a broken bone or far worse. They need to tack on an extra fine and jail time for targeting the elderly.

I’ll have a good Dobermann or Shepherd with me everywhere when I get older.A well trained dog discourages attacks like this. And I’ll still be carrying.

Drugs are a political crime.
And your taxes pay for hundreds of billions per year in jailing these political prisoners.

Of course Id be doing 50 to beyond lifeMaybe not...if I was on the jury you'd get not guilty, a medal, and a large monetary reward for getting rid of vermin. Wouldn't bring your uncle back, but would help clean the streets.

I think PA is where the Buddhist Monk was robbed while buying lottery tickets. The monk chased the culprit into the parking lot.

They need to tack on an extra fine and jail time for targeting the elderly.Quite right! Just had an elderly friend buried this week who was doing well managing a chronic illness for years -- until he fell. Then he died within a couple of weeks. Some states do have an added penalty for attacking an elderly person.
