I remember that 1966 World Series.

I think except for the first game, in which Moe Drabowsky pitched about 6 innings of relief, that the Orioles pitchers pitched complete game victories in the remaining games.

So the Orioles bullpen was not needed in that series.

The Orioles starers were so good back then, they barely needed a bullpen.

But what a matchup! McNally - Drysdale and Palmer - Koufax, Bunker - Osteen, then McNally - Drysdale again.

I hang the goat horns on Willie Davis. His three errors in game 2 helped give the Orioles a 2-0 series lead.
