Air France stewardesses, furious at being ordered to wear headscarves in Tehran, say they will refuse to fly to the Iranian capital when the airline resumes the service later this month.
Female members of flight crews have been ordered to cover their hair once they disembark in Tehran and unions are demanding that the flights be made voluntary for women.
The resumption of a thrice-weekly service between Paris and Tehran, planned for April 17 after an eight-year break, follows a thaw in relations since Iran agreed to dismantle large sections of its nuclear programme.
Iranian women have been forced by law to cover their hair or face stiff fines since the 1979 Islamic revolution. In staunchly secular France, however, public signs of religion have been frowned upon since a 1905 law separating church and state.

A caller on Jeff Kuhner’s show noted that while on a recent trip to France, French Citizens would pull him aside and ask if they were American and then go into how they support what Trump is doing. Anecdotal? Yee. Chances a number of Frenchmen have had enough? Quite high IMHO...
Just what the h@ll does France think the Muslim world has to offer that is so great that it is worth alienating the most mediocre of employees over? Does France think the Muslims would do anything, anything at all resembling civilization at all, that would benefit them?
Seems that appeasing tyranny is just wired into their culture. If not appeasing the Nazi Party; then appease the Muslims.

While certainly not an expert on French women, the few I have had the opportunity to encounter in my life, have not been particularly “submissive”.

When I was a kid, I had to wear a hat in the Catholic church to attend a wedding. Then that all changed.
So in deference to the Uraniums, I suppose I'd wear the airline scarf.
I guess lace mantillas or chapel veils are out.

America has nothing to crow about....at least the PM of France doesn’t “bow” to the leaders of muslim countries, as our President does. I’ve never been so ashamed of my government as I have been since 20 January 2009.
